A night that spells nostalgia.

It was Limelight for CMB again! I'm not too sure if it was a biannual event 'cos the previous one was 2 years back.

I didn't have plans to go initially 'cos school's been really hectic and I thought it'll be performed by people that I mostly don't recognise anyway. But I'm so glad I went, and thank you Kenneth for the tickets! But he gave me 2 separate seats and intentionally placed my seats beside both my CMB & ACJCSB conductors. THAT was not appreciated. >_> When the former asked what I'm currently doing right now, the latter cut in and said, "Tai tai lor." Wah piang. Thanks ah.

So ahchoo and I were lucky enough 'cos there were empty seats around so we didn't have to split! Yup so there were 2 empty seats between us & the conductors. Hmm. Apart from that, the performance was awesome! It reminded me of our last performance in VCH -- the dancing of the kids. THEY WERE SOOOOOOO CUTE I SWEAR! The gimmicks were good. :) The senior band with alumni was way better than what I'd thought, and seeing sooooooo many familiar faces made me so happy. For a moment, I had wished I was there on stage with them. Oh well, blame myself for not being able to commit. hah. But I really had missed the stage, making music and definitely the company. There's just something about the company of musicians of CMB. Maybe, it's because I was so devoted to this band in the past. Maybe, that was when love started. And it all started from a rusty Bundy Saxophone.

Anyhow, managed to catch up a lil with Joey Teo. Ah, such a sticky junior, but I love her! Can't stop hugging her hahahaha. I promise we'll have another section outing! (Wait till I'm a free bird from school) And grabbed Aloysius for a photo after the concert. Too bad Charlotte was with her boyfriend(I've been so outdated really) and her mum. What a combi! hah.

It was definitely a good night. :)

Slept 8h thereafter and was still very tired to wake up for school. Came back and napped for 1.5h and AM STILL SO GROGGY. Flu is still here to stay and I sense an impending sore throat. SAY WHAT? I have presentation on Thursday. :( Dear body, please be good. I promise to rest more. Urghhh. Okay gotta go start work now! Can't wait for Friday(so that another hell week is over).

MISS YU

Born on 6 November '92 in Shanghai, virgin trip on the airplane at the age of 3 when she moved to Singapore. First language was Shanghainese. Only child thanks to the one child policy back then. Sang in the Choir in Primary School, played the alto saxophone in the military band in Secondary School, then the tenor saxophone in the concert band in Junior College. Currently majoring in Linguistics & Multilingual Studies in NTU. Part time Beauty Advisor for Lancôme Paris. Tutor for Primary & Secondary School students.
Learnt some basic design sketching(fashion), yoga and modern jazz - and loved them. Loves travelling, beauty stuff, food, photography and languages. Learning 日本語, Française & la lingua italiana. Wants to learn German and play the cello.
