Escapade.

Sometimes, the close bond we have with somebody fades, but this is how we learn, change and grow to improve ourselves as individuals.

We need time, to get that back.
But right now, I know it hasn't changed. I'm not ready.

I woke up @ 12.34pm.

Exhausted.

Had my 2nd ambulance ride at 1+am today. Not my mum this time round, it's me. :(

Returned home from band extremely exhausted, partially cos I'm still very sick.
Did my usual stuffs, and daddy made honey lemon for my bad throat. Drank 2 cups of it.
Before I wanted to go to bed, I ate another medicine(to cure the throat).

15minutes passed.


Started to feel dizzy and discomfort filled my entire body.
I thought I was hungry, so I quickly attempted to sleep so that the hunger will go away.
Who knows it got worse and I went to my parents' room to ask for help.
Before I know what's happening with me, I vomited.
and vomited and vomited and vomited and vomited.
My legs were wobbly, I literally couldn't walk properly and wanted to faint.
Drank water, drank milo, remained helpless.
My lower abdomen started to hurt, really really bad.
Until a point I couldn't take it anymore, my mum screamed at my dad to call ambulance.

Daddy: what what? 119? huh? 911? eh? .... 995!

It was quite funny but I was in too much pain to laugh. hahaha.

So my mum changed me and it took bloody long.
'cos as much as I wanted to move my limbs, I was just in too much pain. :(

Ambulance came up to bring me down, up I go, onto the ambulance.
I couldn't even answer the medic's questions properly cos all I could do was scream. Yes it was that painful. I swear I literally want to die than live cos it was so so so painful. :(
And the whole journey felt like the longest one ever, I pressed so hard on my abdomen.
Sweat like there's no tomorrow, heart beats faster and faster, and I couldn't even breathe properly. STUPID FLU = BLOCKED NOSE.


Reached NUHS, the doctors and nurses come and go to examine me.
and it took them soooooooooooooooooooooooooo long to come to give me the jab.
Initially I rejected violently, cos I'm scared of jabs. :(
But thinking of my situation, all I wanted was to stop the pain.
So after don't-know-how-long, the nurse finally gave me my jab.
Oh man it was so scary, but I guess the pain in my abdomen made it seem like nothing.
I then slept, and when I woke up again, my ears were swollen. Oh man.


Yes, another allergy, rashes. eww.


I was then pushes into another place, waiting for my 2nd jab.
Yes, SECOND INJECTION. OH YOUR GOD.
Why? Thanks to the rashes. Stupid body.
Waited for god knows how long again. Slept and woke up and slept and woke up.
the 2nd jab was SO PAINFUL. D:
because the pain in the abdomen was gone, and the 2nd jab was actually really more painful. Felt like crying. :(


Okay, so I was finally discharged at around 5am in the morning.
Reached home at around 5plus, when all you guys out there just woke up. -_-


Alright, what a long struggle through the night.
I'm so weak now, physically. :(

blah blah blahhhh

it's 3.01am now and I'm down with flu.
Damn I knew it was coming and here it was, and there I go spamming tissues while typing this. kns.


Anyway I survived band camp. :O
More like a tenuous concentration camp of the Nazi's.
I've never tried playing saxophone for so long hours in 3 days before. It's crazy, it drove me crazy. We only get to bathe 11plus 12plus after band prac when we're all worn out. and then we're all forced to sleep.
damn if only I had a portable hair dryer with me. it was gross. luckily I have bj with me. it has been my pillow for 2 days. :)

and proficiency test was crap.
I went in and smiled at teow. but I knew I was dead. I'm never made to go through such things in my life. Just like how I screwed up band fest auditions, I did for this one too. But cheryl seemed worst under benpooi. hahaha.
but oh well, I can't even tongue properly for third symphony and janan who was waiting outside for his turn laughed at me. :(
boohoos, I know I'm gonna fail pretty badly.
even jewel told me she only got 47/100 for the test when 80/100 is the passing mark. wth.


oh well. and the saxophone section is forced to memorise concerto grosso.
this is really gross because I can't even memorise the number of rests and notes I have to play.
Thank you for all the different variations and it's killing me.
I think I can't survive if we're made to stand in front of the stage and spread out(which means far apart and by ourselves). Can you imagine? I can't. I'll die. I've got stage fright fyi.

I was feeling very horrible on tuesday and saiful said I had pms.
and he was so accurate when my new year actually came on wed.
no wonder his 'business' so good. hehehe. :p


I like enchanted.
I know i'm slow cos I only got to watch it during band camp. and janan was right beside me giving me all the spoilers. hahaha. but it's still so sweeeet. I like!

and I went to watch Green Zone with cheryl and janan today(or yesterday).
it's janan's first NC16 movie. hahaha!
It's quite okayyy, but not my type of movie. hahaha.
I splurged like crazy on food.
first was famous amos, then popcorn, then beardpapa's eclaire cream puff, then dinner, then hokkaido black saseme ice-cream. Heavenly.
and not only that, I bought myself a necklace, black heels and an awesome-ly cute strawberry transparent umbrella. YOU GOTTA SEE IT. IT'S SUPER CUTE. MUAHAHAHA.
There I go, a $100 gone in a day. like that. zoooooooooom.

It has definitely been ages since I blogged consecutively! :p

Woke up at 10plus 11 yesterday upon atika's missed call.
grabbed a quick bite for breakfast and was supposed to leave already then cheryl called.
I then became the secretary of that day. lol.
Had to help her reply her email to Straits Times regarding her father-daughter interview. There's like 16 questions lah!!! Crazy.
So I had to type out her replies to each and every question, see I just saved her life! :p
Oh upon saying that, cheryl's family is going to featured on the Straits Times, Life! & Lifestyle section! Yay, I'm so excited for her!!! :D So do loooook out, it's gonna be published some time this week or the next. :)


While walking to the MRT with daddy(cos I need him to withdraw $ to give me, hehehe!), he suddenly said, "Did you realise you've changed? You've become less confident of yourself and the 朝气(sorry I don't know the translation) is gone."
Wa, I felt so sad lah. :( But it set me thinking though. I just replied him, "I think cos I'm getting older alr lah."
But I guess that's not the main reason. Hmmmm.

I miss those days when we are always together! Every night before I sleep, I would stare at my calendar for awhile. Aw, nostalgic momentssss. :)

After which went Ion to shop a lil, then headed over to Suntec for bodyshop's warehouse sale!

So we did what most people did: SQUEEZE.
HAHAHA.
If not you won't be able to find anything, cos it was super duper crowded! Even though it was only a thursday evening, and it's not even the time when people knocked off! So was the IT fair, crazy. Singapore is just way tooooooo dense.


Bought our stuffs and I chiong-ed back to school for band.
Walked into the band room and the first thing that caught my eye: OMG NEW TENOR SAXOPHONE!!! YAMAHA CUSTOM EX!!!
Opened it up with excitement with benpooi & janan, we were screaming like some idiots lah. Okay maybe that's just janan and me. HAHAHA.
IT'S SUPER PRETTTTTTTTTTTTY. No scratches at all, WAHAHAHA, BRAND NEW!!!
Damn I really want it!!! Please let it stay please please please! :)


FINALLY,
headed out for supper @ McDonald's(outside WestMall) with cheryl. :D
ate nuggets while she settled down for her milo cravings.
then she tempted me to eat Sundae. Shit man, guilty indulgenceeee. :x
Reached home at midnight again(after the day before) then my dad complained. hahahaha. :p

Maybe not that long but it seemed very long 'cos of terms, yes terms makes me go crazyyyy.


but YAY, March holidays officially starts NOW because my papers have ended! ^.^ WOOHOO!
there's not much sense of satisfaction, unfortunately. :(
I guess partly cos I studied everything last minute, and it sucks to go into the examination hall feeling unprepared. It's freaking me out yet I could do nothing due to time constraints. Sigh.
Lesson learnt: BE CONSISTENT IN MY WORK!

yet again, how can I do that when I've got thousands of things to do at one go? It kills, kills my brain cells, drains out my energy, pulls off my hair. Okay I don't even know what I'm talking about now. lol.




Anyway, headed to town with charlotte, joey & nazril directly after physics paper.
THE SMELL OF TOWN IS SO (Y).
Spirits seemed to lift suddenly, and my eyes were just busy looking at good food and pretty things. YAY.

1st target: TAKOPACHI (or takoyaki ballssss)
I can never forget that whenever I go takashimaya, it's a MUST EAT. (drooooools)

2nd target: MOS BURGER
I tried the beef rice burger today, still prefer the seafood one or teriyaki chicken. & Mos Burger fries is heavenlyyyy. C:

3rd target: HIT THE CINEMA.
Headed to Cineleisure to watch Alice in Wonderland 3D with charlotte & joey while naz went home to pack for his thailand trip tmr!

4th target: EAT NACHOS.
Love love love love love love the cheeeeeeeese. & jew-ed caramel popcorn that charlotte bought. yoohoo! :D

5th target: PROVENCE.
Joey left for training directly after the movie, window shopped and went kinokuniya with charlotte while waiting for marshall to come meet us. Charlotte splurged on Muji stuffs lah! :b & she just anyhow convinced herself to buy that Uniqlo sweatshirt just cos it's $19.90. hahaha.
okay, the point here is MARSHALL TREATED PROVENCE PASTRIES. :D

6th target: BK.
went to chilax for damn long @ BK ion with our Provence pastries. LOL. Marshall bought a meal, then charlotte and I just happily jew-ed his fries away. :P Talked like there's no tomorrow, missed him so much! Finally seen him in his blue strips uniform. HAHAHA.

7th target: MEET NAIR.
Yes, NAIR. I haven't seen her since memeks' reunion dinner. walao eh! If not because of me appearing at Ion, I wouldn't even know she's still alive! HAHAHA. Just kidding. :P So anyway, met her after I left marshall & charlotte, supposedly to go home together after she knocked off but ended up going to the city.
So here goes us walking around Suntec, caught up with her. I MISSED OUT SO MUCH!

8th target: STARBUCKS.
Yes, too much to talk about until we ended up in starbucks with chocolate truffle cake & my green tea frappe as dinner. hahaha.


SO, I basically spent all my $$$$ on food today. Not cheap food if you realised. TSK. D:
My parents even called to ask me where I was and commented that I was behaving as though A levels are over when it's only terms. -______-
hahaha, I enjoyed myself too much alr lah. :x


So ya, next few days are all packed!
Oh well.
I really need to sort things out, urgently.
As we go on, we diverge and diverge. This is so traumatising. Sigh.

Oh well.

Born on 6 November '92 in Shanghai, virgin trip on the airplane at the age of 3 when she moved to Singapore. First language was Shanghainese. Only child thanks to the one child policy back then. Sang in the Choir in Primary School, played the alto saxophone in the military band in Secondary School, then the tenor saxophone in the concert band in Junior College. Currently majoring in Linguistics & Multilingual Studies in NTU. Part time Beauty Advisor for Lancôme Paris. Tutor for Primary & Secondary School students.
Learnt some basic design sketching(fashion), yoga and modern jazz - and loved them. Loves travelling, beauty stuff, food, photography and languages. Learning 日本語, Française & la lingua italiana. Wants to learn German and play the cello.
