I don't know what I'm doing.
I'm freaked out, and that's the only word I could think of. ah.
Finally, study camp's over.
it simply feels like going back to school for lectures, during school holidays.
I didn't get to study in class, and when I finally stepped into the classroom today, I realised all the books were all over the place.
& I CAN'T FIND MY ACTIVE STUDY DICTIONARY! D:
whoever who took my books and stuffed them at the side, you should go & die.
Dictionary's my bestfriend, and now it's missing. ):

I thought the Financial Literacy today was boring.
Though it made much much sense, and taught me that I should save $5000 every month from 25 years old onwards for 35 years, after which when I reached the age of 60, I would have $18 million. (provided it's 10% annually)
Maybe I'm too tired, I can just sleep while staring at Mr Gerald when he talked. :\
Nevertheless, I think my money management isn't that bad afterall. (with Saiful Boohairy once as my financial consultant, lol)


A Math lessons were okay, revision is all to make it better.
that's also another reason for a test next monday.
3 Sciences SPA were the MOST BORING part of the camp man.
It trained more of my finger muscles to copy faster than teaching me how I should go about it planning the experiment.
I think I need more lessons on that lah. waliew.

A Knight's Tale is nice.

OH, I thought the NE Food Heritage thing was rather funny.

went for Individuals with atika & NAAir today.
played Hundington Celebration ten thousand times.

she smsed me suddenly on wednesday night after knowing I've got terrible sore throat, "Drink more water and dun eat fried things !"
then the next day, I was accompanying Atika at the canteen table while Wanen and Huiying were buying the food.

& I GOT THIS! I mean, non-fried wan ton! Isn't that so sweeeeet of her? if not I would have ended up eating fried ones, which would have attacked my oh-so-sore throat!

Eyebags are my worst nightmare yet I have it everyday! :\
have been sleeping at midnight throughout the whole week.
it's like the starting of the year only lah! D:
but reading newspaper has become part of my life, not bad ah! :D


the audition yesterday was kind of anyhow. (it was way beyond my expections lah)
I didn't know the zonda reed 3 can be so "hard", there's much more resistance to it than I imagined!
gosh, no wonder so many can't even make a sound! -.-
but at least better air support players can be picked out.
gave out so many many many 1s, and we only managed to write down ONE girl's name and some guys.
my section's gonna be MANLY MAN! LOL
the ratio of guys is to girls is already 6:5!

didn't go and take a look at their sectionals and I bet it was anyhow since they sat on some old-school-canteen-table's-chairs.

don't know how they'll survive lahhhhhh. ):


then chionged all the way to Esplanade in Mr De Souza's car with Yi Ci and Miss Yeo, his girlfriend who's also the band director of fuhua primary.
got to know some future band plans which of course, I won't be taking part in.
only allowed to go and watch. D:
awwww. I feel old.

reached Esplanade and ran into the concert theatre when they're giving this signal that they're closing the door.
luckily we made it on time! if not we would have missed like half of it!
oh your god, the concert was fabulous, fantastic, fan-tasy, _______(just fill the blank up with all the nice words).
they can do ALL KINDS of gimmicks that you would never ever expect, by raising the instrument up high, turn here and there up to 360degrees, dancing, changing their suit, using colourful ribbons to make all kinds of patterns, singing etc etc etc!
It's damn good lah!
damn worth it, nobody will complain lah.
& I like their confidence on stage!
they looked so disciplined, so organised.
how nice. and everyone of them is super enthusiastic at the same time!
WHOAAAAAAAA.


I want to watch their performance again lah.
the Live feeling is damn good. hahaha

and we went to eat Burger King while some of them went to eat KFC next door at Marina Square after the concert, which is close to midnight! (DINNER OKAY!)
went home after midnight and daddy was grumbling again for making him "work OT". lol
but perhaps it's the last concert I'm watching before I step down lah. alamak

CCA open house

CCA open house yesterday, it's really VERY ANYHOW.
everything was so disorganised, and the school doesn't bother.
and the HOD was against us like we owe it to him. waliew! wapiang!


didn't have any alto sax to play. D:
that's suppose to be my last 2nd performance with CMB! :/
reminded Mr. De Souza the day before and he forgot about it. ah, never mind.
but we were given extra time so we played Shrek Dance Party, like the usual thing.
& I took Aloysius's instrument. (but he went to take JiaJie's one away. LOL) :p
the solo was anyhow though, but at least I played something. hahaha


didn't really rock the hall. aw
some pulse problems here and there.
SOMETHING TO WORK ON FOR CONCERT!




we were actually given a small corner in 4/6's classroom, luckily Mr Elfie voiced it out and we got a whole of 4/4's classroom instead.
but, we had a hard time getting people to come to our space. :/
everything was blocked, and many sec 1s just simply walked passed the classroom!
I think the time we spent on waiting was more than the time we spent getting people's attention and talking to them about band. :\
still, got a few sec 1s who wants to join THE SAXIEST SECTION! :D
and one of them is Charlotte's Super Shy brother, Clement! lol! I didn't realise he was Charlotte's brother until Charlotte told me.
then another one named Serene whom Aloysius claimed that he knows her.
and there's a guy named Ameer. HAHAHA
and it seems that the ASEAN Scholars are interested to join us too!
somehow they seemed to care more about the CCA points. hm.
but if that can be the motivation for them to play well, then.. well, we shall see. ;D


then had alumni band.
played Seventh Night of July, another song which I can't spell(it's in Japanese), R. March(can't spell too :/) and Pecos Pueblo.
Seventh Night of July is damn nice, and damn challenging too. :\
was being SHOOed out of the band room by Mary out of the blue. lol!
claiming that they needed to lock the school.
leon ah, rude ah!
then outside the general office, leon said something then mary said, "you crazy ah!" LOL
damn funny lah! HAHAHAHAHA


then went to JEC, bought waffles for the first time since Prima Deli closed for some time.
and saw Theckyee, Yici and Christopher on the 2nd floor going toilet.
we went up, then they came out. LOL
then Christopher was like pulling Venus's sleeve a few times, "can I have a bit of waffle?"
HAHAHA! then he peeled some off. LOL
saw a whole stretch of alumni at Kopitiam.
then,

we bought this ice-cream. :D

1st day of school was kind of boring.
the usual mrs teo never-ending speeches.
she even practiced with the Sec 1s morning greetings during morning assembly on the 2nd day. -_____-
but it will be the last year I'm gonna listen to her talk about HER holistic education plans and stuffs. lol
aw, feeling old.
damn, from sitting on the 2nd row in the old school hall for assembly, to sitting on the 10th row, to sitting in the middle column in the new school hall, TO SITTING AT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE HALL.
ohmygod, i'm ageing.
ohyourgod, i'm graduating. O_O




time flies like nobody's business.
and we always waste time like there's many tomorrows in the band, in the school.

New Year Resolutions

I shall list down my first New Year Resolutions in my entire 15 years of life. :D

• CMB's Concert to be a DAMN BIG success, a concert that everyone who attends will remember it for life. :D
• Secondary 1 band members will have a good start and will be a good batch.
• To mug hard for every single tests, no failures!
• Read newspapers EVERYDAY!
• Improve on my Saxophone playing, try out new stuffs with my instrument.
• Improve my section's technicals, sight-reading skills and music playing.
• Make sure my section knows ALL THE SCALES.
• To get at least 6A1s for O Levels. :D
• Lose like 1 or 2 kilograms and maintain there, so that my mass will start with a nicer number.
• Step down without regrets.
• Not get caught during spot checks. :p
• Keep in touch with Memeks after stepping down!

That's all I can think of for the moment!

All right, I'm left with Physics and some Mathematics.
and I don't plan to complete Physics at all. Oops.
anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Born on 6 November '92 in Shanghai, virgin trip on the airplane at the age of 3 when she moved to Singapore. First language was Shanghainese. Only child thanks to the one child policy back then. Sang in the Choir in Primary School, played the alto saxophone in the military band in Secondary School, then the tenor saxophone in the concert band in Junior College. Currently majoring in Linguistics & Multilingual Studies in NTU. Part time Beauty Advisor for Lancôme Paris. Tutor for Primary & Secondary School students.
Learnt some basic design sketching(fashion), yoga and modern jazz - and loved them. Loves travelling, beauty stuff, food, photography and languages. Learning 日本語, Française & la lingua italiana. Wants to learn German and play the cello.
