GOODBYE, 2007!
GOODBYE 2007!
I shall do some recap before the year ends in 12minutes!
Okay, I should say this year is damn challenging.
Yup, in everyway.
Be it physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, economically.
But because of these, I've learn to grow up in one way or another.
Life was good, I should say.
I should be contented too, and face things calmly. :D
I stepped into this year with a big smile.
So, I should say bye to this year with a big smile too.
Things might have changed, but life still goes on.
2007,
This is the year I became an upper secondary student.
In other words, I had direct juniors.
I entered 3/5, full of doubts.
I wasn't very confident with myself, just like when I was a Secondary 1.
New class, new people.
New environment, new teachers.
& thus I took some time to adapt.
Wasn't very pleasant at the beginning, maybe my adaptation skills really sucked.
Tried to control my emotions better, but failed a thousand times.
Fierce competitions, scary competitors.
Practiced damn hard for SYF, pulled through with a Gold Award.
Was happy that my solo wasn't so screwed.
Was more proud than ever that I did that for CMB.
Was contented with myself that I wasn't so nervous before performing.
Was glad that I did my very best.
Studied like there's no tomorrow so many times,
results were still disappointing.
I told myself it's okay, the next would be better.
& had come to a conclusion that I don't have any niche subject anymore, I can be damn good at this subject for a term, and fail it the next.
Disappointing results that I was even questioned if I'm suitable to take 9 subjects.
Still, it comes with encouragement too.
change mugging method?
well, worse comes to worst, just grab some people to be my tutor.
am unwillingly to give up any subjects, cause I don't believe I can't cope.
:D
Was appointed the BMA.
Things have changed since then.
More sacrifices made, of course, gained so much new experiences as a leader.
I might have not fulfilled my job well enough, but I tried.
Thanks for the comments made, and of course praises I heard of.
Thank you my DM & BMM, if not for both of you, things wouldn't have worked out too.
From the digressing non-stop discussions, to ogaying non-stop, to being serious at practices.
Teamwork made the impossibles to i-m-possible. :D
Learnt that things wouldn't work out properly if there's no proper planning,
learnt that things wouldn't work out if there's no communication beforehand,
learnt that things wouldn't work out if there's no co-operation.
From a person who wouldn't dare to speak out, to a person who dares to scream in front of one group of people.
I've gained self-confidence!
Leadership skills acquired too.
I'm glad I've got both of you with me.
You're loved!
Felt loved so many times because of my beloved MEMEKS!
always waiting for me after band practices,
prepared surprises for me on my birthday,
sending me from Vivo City to all the way home because of my split headache, etc etc.
If not for them, I might have become a loner. hahaha
Thank you, for accompanying me through all the ups and downs.

and thank you,
for making me stronger.

& also had my
first chalet,
first midnight movie,
first conference from midnight till dawn,
first stay out from midnight till dawn,
first direct juniors,
first time being an emcee,
first time getting out of Singapore without my parents,
etc.
first prubake too.
these memories shall stay.

played Mahjong to early in the morning.
bathed then went to sleep in Wilkins's sleeping bag on the bed. hahaha
life was good. (x
next day woke up early in the morning and saw people sleeping on the stairs, chairs & mattress. O_o
then went to school for Band recording with Jasper teo all the way from Pasir Ris to Jurong East!
not late though. HAHAHA
went back to chalet with Wanen, Jessica, Theresa and Jayper.
then blah blah, BBQ in the evening/night.

went midnight cycling with Cavin, Pohhui, Pamela, Jessica & Valerie.
fun fun fun! hahaha
then went back to bathe at the swimming pool toilet which was freezing cold.
then decided to sleep by the pool. LOL
HAHAHA.
I can't describe, but it was damn funny.
slept a while, damn hard lah the thing!
and it started raining, so we went to the reception there to sleep on the sofa. HAHAHA
until don't know when then Cavin came and woke us up.
I should say the chalet was another experience of the year. :D
cause this is like my first chalet in my entire 15 years of life.
sound damn kuku I know. hahaha
